Fire Rebuild Program
You Lost Enough.Rebuilding Shouldn't Cost You Your Peace of Mind Too.
After a fire, rebuilding a home is about much more than construction.
There are insurance documents, adjusters, architects, engineers, permits, budgets, code requirements, selections, temporary housing considerations, and hundreds of decisions—all while your family is already dealing with disruption and loss.
You should not have to become a construction manager just to get home again.
The UBIC Fire Rebuild Program provides one organized team to help coordinate the rebuilding process from initial assessment through construction, move-in, and warranty.
Our Goal Is Simple: Take the complexity off your shoulders and get your family home.
ONE TEAM. ONE PLAN. ONE PATH HOME.

Rebuild support
Built for thecomplexities of fire recovery.
01
Rebuild Assessment & Scope Development
We begin by helping establish exactly what needs to happen. Our team reviews available plans, reports, existing conditions, rebuilding requirements, and applicable construction documentation to develop a clear path forward. We organize the construction scope into language that homeowners, design professionals, and insurance representatives can understand. Before rebuilding begins, everyone should understand what is being rebuilt.

02
Insurance Documentation Support
Insurance paperwork should not dictate your life. UBIC can provide construction-related documentation needed to support your claim and rebuild, including:
- Detailed construction scopes
- Estimates and proposals
- Photographic documentation
- Change documentation
- Construction invoices
- Progress documentation
- Supporting information requested by adjusters
You remain in control of your insurance claim while we provide the construction expertise and documentation required from your builder.

03
Adjuster & Insurance Coordination
When construction questions arise, you shouldn't be stuck translating between your contractor and your adjuster. With your authorization, UBIC can communicate directly with the appropriate insurance representatives regarding construction scope, pricing, documentation, and progress. When appropriate, we participate in construction-related inspections and help explain the work required to properly rebuild the home. Less back-and-forth for you. More direct communication between the people who need to solve the problem.

04
Code & Rebuild Coordination
A rebuild is not always as simple as reconstructing what existed before. Current building codes, structural requirements, energy standards, utility requirements, planning conditions, and jurisdictional requirements may affect the project. UBIC coordinates with your design and engineering professionals to identify these requirements as early as possible. The objective is to discover requirements before construction—not halfway through it.

05
Permitting & Agency Coordination
We coordinate the construction side of the permitting process with your architect, engineers, consultants, and applicable agencies. When corrections or additional information are requested, we help keep the response process moving. Permit timelines ultimately remain subject to the governing jurisdiction, but your project doesn't sit unattended because nobody knows who is responsible for the next step.

06
Rebuild Priority Scheduling
Families displaced by fires have already spent enough time away from home. Fire rebuild projects receive focused scheduling and procurement planning designed to eliminate unnecessary downtime. We identify long-lead materials early, coordinate trades in advance, and actively manage sequencing throughout construction. Every unnecessary week matters when you're waiting to go home.

07
One Dedicated Point of Contact
You shouldn't have to explain your situation to a different person every week. You have a designated UBIC contact who understands your project, knows the decisions that have been made, and coordinates communication with the team. When you have a question, you know who to call.

08
Weekly Rebuild Report
Every week, you receive a clear update. No chasing your contractor. No wondering whether anyone showed up. No weeks of silence.
- What was completed.
- What's happening next.
- Current schedule status.
- Insurance or permitting items requiring attention.
- Decisions we need from you.
- Progress photos.

09
Transparent Rebuild Budget
Insurance proceeds, upgrades, owner selections, code-related items, allowances, and construction costs can make rebuild budgets complicated. We organize the construction budget so you can clearly distinguish the major components of your project and understand the financial impact of decisions before they are made. You should understand where the money is going before it is spent.

10
Upgrade & Betterment Planning
Rebuilding can also create an opportunity to improve the home. If you decide to modify the previous layout, increase functionality, upgrade finishes, improve energy efficiency, or make other changes, we help separate those improvements from the base rebuild scope. That gives you clarity between what is being restored and what you are choosing to improve.

11
Temporary Housing Timeline Support
We cannot control your insurance carrier's ALE decisions or housing availability. What we can do is provide the construction schedules, progress documentation, and projected milestones you may need to coordinate your temporary housing decisions. As construction progresses, we keep you informed so you can plan your transition home with better information.

12
Quality Control Before You Come Home
Speed matters. But coming home to problems doesn't help anyone. UBIC uses documented quality-control procedures throughout construction and performs a detailed pre-completion walkthrough before turnover. Your rebuild should be managed for both urgency and quality.
